The name of the festival speaks for itself. Absolutely anyone who has been to the scene of the war will not say anything good about the war. People support the war because of a hateful propaganda, because of prejudices, because of any misconceptions, but only until they have been in the war. We decided to hold our festival in the center of Europe, in Vienna, in one of the most beautiful cities with a rich history.

War is a horror, the consequences of which haunt one's entire life. Unfortunately, even knowing history, knowing the consequences of war, armed conflicts constantly arise, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. Since war is impossible without the support of the population, we seek to dispel the illusions of people who see in it a solution. We want, with our help, to bring people closer to understanding the real consequences of war.

In order to hold as many views as possible on our festival, we urge not to be afraid to experiment and use absolutely any genre and techniques. Think of Taika Waititi's great work "Jojo Rabbit" or Roberto Benigni's "Life is Beautiful" - great examples of how comedy can play on contrasts and make the audience empathize with the tragedy of people.

We are open to movies of any format and genre. Films don't have to have a military theme. It is important to show how destructive hatred is to our world and how many opportunities it closes off for humanity.
