Flowers Against Bullets is an Austrian festival designed to brin
g people together. We want to show that humanity lives not in different countries, not in different cultures, but on ONE planet. No matter where you grew up, what your upbringing or religion is: you love, you grieve, you rejoice. Life is too short to waste it on degrading other people who can make your life better
Main nominations
We have three main nominations that deserve the special attention of the audience. These nominations are designed to capture the spirit of our festival. In the other nominations, we will judge a specific contribution to the creation of a film
Red Cross
The main award of the film festival. It is awarded to the film which was able to tell about the consequences of the war better than the others
Prize of Cultures
The award is given to the picture that best reveals the idea of friendship between nations
White Dove
Award for the best reportage from the scene of events (rallies or military actions)
